Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Penna ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. These Terms apply to penna.ink, app.penna.ink, and any related services.

2. What Penna does

Penna is an AI-powered tool that reads publicly available news articles and generates LinkedIn posts in your voice. You provide a URL; we generate draft content. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to publish anything Penna produces.

3. Your account

You must be 16 or older to use Penna. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@penna.ink if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Penna to generate content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or harassing.
Submit URLs to paywalled content you don't have lawful access to.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service in ways that damage its infrastructure.
Resell or sublicense access to Penna without written permission.

5. Content and intellectual property

You own the posts Penna generates for you. We claim no ownership over your output. You own your input (the URLs and voice profile you provide). You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.

Penna, the Penna logo, and the underlying technology are our intellectual property.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

Penna uses AI to generate content. All output should be reviewed before publishing. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are responsible for any posts you publish, including compliance with platform terms (e.g. LinkedIn's terms of service) and applicable law.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time; you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@penna.ink.

9. Limitation of liability

Penna is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, unless you're located in the EU or UK, in which case local consumer protection laws may apply.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll post the updated version here and, for material changes, email registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
